Hi, I'm Justin.

I run J Software Solutions as a full-stack developer. I've been building websites, apps and cloud systems since 2016.

My story

From loving computers to building for businesses.

I've loved computers since I was a kid. In 2012 I moved to Brisbane, studied IT at TAFE Queensland, then finished a Bachelor of IT at QUT. I've lived and worked in Brisbane ever since.

Since 2016 I've worked as a full-stack developer at companies across Australia, building and running everything from the screens people use to the servers and cloud behind them.

I started J Software Solutions because I wanted to take care of the whole thing myself, and build software that truly fits each business. Everything I've learned goes into my clients' work.

Teaching code for free

From 2016 to 2018 I led LikeLion's Brisbane team, teaching coding for free to university students from all backgrounds. I wrote the curriculum and helped them build real web services. In 2017, my students won first and third prize at the Google Sydney Hackathon. It's also where I learned to explain technical things in plain words.
